You are on duty in Paediatric Ward (Wad Kanak-kanak). There are certain skills that we as nurses need to potray when facing childrens.
In your opinion, what are the techniques that we as nurses could implement to enahance(meningkatkan) care.

-Maintain eye contact
-Use low-pitched, gentle voice
-Slow,visible movememnts
-Rephares questions as needed
: Child may return to lower development level comfort

: Allow expression (fear,crying)
when caring for child client, a nurse must be patience and loving, to caring this client the need to use verbal communication, and some game to gain attention.
ReplyDelete-in my opinoin,when caring for a child i will try to adapt with them so that they think we are a part of them.This will make me easily doing my care for them because we already made a trusting relationship with the child...

In my opinion,the the techniques that we as nurses could implement to enhance care when caring the children are we must have a lot of patience when handling child because their attitude difference with adult.Then,the nurses should lower voices when talking to them.Nurses can gain attention of a children with toys or games while take care of them. Besides that,nurses must be a loving person and handling child with gentle.Nurses also can use short sentences to make child understand when communicate.
